Marbled Easter Bunny Cut Out Cookies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup butter, softened
02 - 1 cup sugar
03 - ½ teaspoon sea salt
04 - 2 eggs
05 - 1½ teaspoons vanilla extract
06 - 4 cups all-purpose flour
07 - ⅓ cup cornstarch
08 - ¼ teaspoon nutmeg (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 375°F.
02 - Cream together butter, sugar, and salt in a stand mixer with paddle attachment.
03 - Mix in the eggs and vanilla extract.
04 - Add flour, cornstarch, and nutmeg. Mix on low until fully incorporated. Refrigerate for 30 minutes if needed.
05 - Roll dough out to ¼-½ inch thickness on a lightly floured surface. Cut into desired shapes using cookie cutters.
06 - Bake for 8-10 minutes (depending on thickness) or until edges are very lightly browned. Do not overbake.

01 - Allow cookies to cool completely before icing
02 - Can store in airtight container for up to 2 weeks
03 - Can be frozen for several months
04 - Can add ¼-½ cup additional sugar if not icing the cookies
05 - Can reduce cornstarch to ¼ cup for softer cookies
