Peanut Butter Egg Recipe (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup creamy peanut butter.
02 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter.
03 - 2 cups powdered sugar.
04 - 1/4 teaspoon salt.
05 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
06 - 2 cups milk chocolate for dipping.

# Instructions:

01 - Microwave peanut butter and butter in large bowl until melted and warm enough to mix easily.
02 - Combine melted peanut butter and butter until smooth using spatula, whisk, or hand mixer.
03 - Mix in salt, vanilla, and powdered sugar gradually until well combined.
04 - Scoop 2 tablespoons of mixture, roll into ball, then shape into egg form by flattening and tapering one end.
05 - Place shaped eggs on parchment-lined sheet pan and refrigerate until firm.
06 - Microwave chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until almost melted. Stir until completely smooth.
07 - Dip chilled eggs in melted chocolate, tap off excess, and place on parchment paper.
08 - Drizzle remaining chocolate over eggs for decoration if desired.

# Notes:

01 - Can use any nut butter instead of peanut butter.
02 - Natural peanut butter works but requires more mixing.
