Italian Stromboli (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound frozen bread dough.
02 - 1/4 pound sliced pepperoni.
03 - 1/4 pound sliced capicola.
04 - 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded.
05 - 1 1/2 teaspoons pizza seasoning.
06 - 1 egg + 1 tablespoon water (optional).
07 - Marinara sauce for dipping (optional).

# Instructions:

01 - Place dough on greased baking sheet. Cover and defrost in fridge for 6-8 hours.
02 - Let sit for 1-2 hours at room temperature.
03 - Heat oven to 400°F.
04 - Roll dough into an 8x13-inch rectangle.
05 - Layer pepperoni, mozzarella cheese, capicola, then more cheese. Sprinkle with pizza seasoning.
06 - Roll up tightly and seal the edges.
07 - Transfer to greased baking sheet and brush with egg wash if using.
08 - Bake in oven for 20 minutes until golden brown.
09 - Cool briefly before slicing and serving.

01 - Can use prepared pizza dough for convenience.
02 - Room temperature dough rolls out easier.
03 - Any Italian meats can be substituted.
04 - Egg wash is optional but recommended for a golden finish.
