Dorito Chicken Tenders (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 600g chicken tenders or breast sliced into strips.
02 - 200g Chili Heatwave Doritos.
03 - 1½ teaspoons smoked paprika.
04 - 1¼ teaspoons salt, divided.
05 - 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper.
06 - ½ teaspoon onion powder.
07 - ½ teaspoon garlic powder.
08 - ½ teaspoon black pepper.
09 - 50g plain flour.
10 - 2 eggs, beaten.
11 - Oil spray as needed.

# Instructions:

01 - Turn on oven to 400°F if baking.
02 - Put Doritos in a bag and crush into large crumbs with rolling pin. Keep some texture, don't powder them.
03 - Sprinkle chicken pieces with ¼ teaspoon salt.
04 - Put flour mix in first dish, beaten eggs in second, crushed Doritos in third.
05 - Dip each piece in flour, then egg, then cover well with Doritos. Handle gently.
06 - Place in air fryer, spray with oil. Cook 10-12 minutes at 400°F, flip halfway.
07 - Put on wire rack over tray, spray with oil. Bake 15-18 minutes at 400°F.

# Notes:

01 - Chicken tenders are slightly more tender than breast but both work well.
02 - Don't crush Doritos too fine - keep some texture for crunch.
03 - Extra seasoning needed as Doritos lose flavor while cooking.
04 - Great with ranch dip or in sandwiches.
