Best Guacamole (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 ripe avocados.
02 - 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt, plus more to taste.
03 - 1 tablespoon fresh lime or lemon juice.
04 - 2-4 tablespoons minced red onion or sliced green onion.
05 - 1-2 serrano or jalapeƱo chilis, stemmed, seeded and minced.
06 - 2 tablespoons finely chopped cilantro.
07 - Pinch freshly ground black pepper.
08 - 1/2 ripe tomato, chopped (optional).
09 - Red radish or jicama slices for garnish (optional).
10 - Tortilla chips for serving.

# Instructions:

01 - Cut avocados in half, remove pit. Score inside with blunt knife and scoop flesh into bowl.
02 - Roughly mash avocados with fork, leaving slightly chunky.
03 - Add salt and lime juice to taste.
04 - Mix in onion, cilantro, black pepper, and chilis gradually to desired taste.
05 - Add tomatoes just before serving if using. Garnish with radish or jicama if desired.

01 - Use caution when handling chilis.
02 - Can be made ahead and covered with plastic wrap.
