Cut the plantain skin down the length and peel it off completely.

Make diagonal cuts to get 1-inch thick plantain pieces.

Put plantain pieces in one layer in your air fryer basket. Brush each piece with avocado oil.

Set air fryer to 390°F and cook for 15-20 minutes total.

Check at 7 minutes and flip when bottom turns golden.

Use tongs to take out the sweet plantains when done. Add a pinch of salt if you like.
