01 - 2 cups canned chickpeas, drained and rinsed
02 - 1 (15-ounce) can whole peeled tomatoes
03 - 2 tablespoons tahini
04 - 2.5 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
05 - 2.5 tablespoons olive oil
06 - 0.25 teaspoon ground cumin
07 - 1 clove garlic, crushed
08 - 0.5 teaspoon salt
09 - 2.5 tablespoons chopped fresh basil

# Instructions:

01 - In a blender or food processor, blend the chickpeas. Add tomatoes, olive oil, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, cumin, basil, and salt until the ingredients form a creamy, paste-like consistency.
02 - Pour the mixture into a large serving bowl.
