# Ingredients:

→ Dough Ingredients

01 - 3 1/2 cups (440 g) all-purpose flour, plus extra for dusting
02 - 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) instant yeast
03 - 1/4 cup (50 g) granulated sugar
04 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
05 - 1/2 cup (120 ml) warm milk (about 110°F/43°C)
06 - 1/4 cup (60 ml) sweetened condensed milk
07 - 1/4 cup (60 g) unsalted butter, softened
08 - 1 large egg
09 - 1/4 cup (60 ml) warm water

→ Egg Wash

10 - 1 large egg, beaten
11 - 1 tablespoon water

# Instructions:

01 - In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, instant yeast, sugar, and salt. Mix well. In a separate bowl, whisk together the warm milk, sweetened condensed milk, softened butter, egg, and warm water. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing with a spoon or your hands until a sticky dough forms.
02 - Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead for 8–10 minutes, or until it becomes smooth and elastic. Alternatively, use a stand mixer with a dough hook on medium speed for 5–6 minutes. Form the dough into a ball and place it in a greased bowl. Cover with a damp cloth or plastic wrap and let it rise in a warm place for 1–1.5 hours, or until it doubles in size.
03 - Once risen, punch down the dough to release air. Divide the dough into 8–10 equal pieces and shape each piece into a ball. Arrange them in a greased 9-inch (23 cm) round or square baking pan, slightly touching each other. Cover the pan with a damp cloth or plastic wrap and let the dough rise again for 30–40 minutes, or until puffy.
04 - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Brush the tops of the dough with the beaten egg wash for a shiny, golden crust. Bake in the preheated oven for 20–25 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
05 - Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely. Serve warm or at room temperature, plain or with your favorite spread.
