Sugared Cranberries (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup granulated sugar, divided.
02 - 1/2 cup water.
03 - 2 cups fresh cranberries.

# Instructions:

01 - Heat 1/2 cup sugar and water over medium-low until sugar dissolves. Bring to gentle boil then remove from heat.
02 - Add cranberries to hot syrup and stir. Let sit 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
03 - Use strainer to remove cranberries from syrup. Spread on parchment-lined baking sheet.
04 - Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup sugar over cranberries and gently toss to coat.
05 - Transfer to wire rack and let dry for 1 hour.
