Slow Cooker Mongolian Beef (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1½ pounds flank steak.
02 - 1/4 cup cornstarch.
03 - 2 tablespoons olive oil.
04 - 1 teaspoon garlic, minced.
05 - 3/4 cup soy sauce.
06 - 3/4 cup water.
07 - 3/4 cup brown sugar.
08 - 1 cup carrots, grated.
09 - Green onions for garnish.
10 - Sesame seeds for garnish.

# Instructions:

01 - Cut flank steak into thin strips.
02 - Coat steak with cornstarch in ziplock bag.
03 - Mix oil, garlic, soy sauce, water, sugar.
04 - Pour sauce into slow cooker.
05 - Add carrots and coated steak.
06 - Stir to coat meat with sauce.
07 - Cook on high 2-3 hours or low 4-5 hours.
08 - Serve over rice.
09 - Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.

# Notes:

01 - Cut meat against the grain.
02 - Can use other beef cuts if sliced thin.
03 - Add vegetables in last hour.
04 - Adjust sugar to taste.
