Juicy chicken slow-cooked in savory honey barbecue sauce. Perfect for effortless, crowd-pleasing meals.

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 3 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts

→ Sauce Mixture

02 - 1 1/2 cups barbecue sauce, such as Sweet Baby Ray's Honey BBQ
03 - 1/2 medium onion, grated with juices retained
04 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
05 - 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
06 - 2 tablespoons brown sugar

# Instructions:

01 - Add barbecue sauce, grated onion with its juices, olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar to a 5 to 6 quart slow cooker. Stir thoroughly to blend.
02 - Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker, turning to ensure each piece is well coated with the barbecue mixture.
03 - Secure the lid and cook on high for 2 to 3 hours or on low for 6 to 7 hours. For smaller chicken pieces, check for doneness sooner. Chicken is fully cooked when it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F and shreds effortlessly.

# Notes:

01 - For maximum tenderness, allow the chicken to rest in the sauce for 10 minutes before shredding.
