Easy Sauteed Mushrooms Spinach (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
02 - 1 pound mushrooms (cremini, button, or a mix), sliced
03 - 4 cups fresh spinach
04 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
05 - 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
06 - Salt, to taste
07 - Pepper, to taste
08 - Optional garnish: fresh parsley or red pepper flakes

# Instructions:

01 - Wash the mushrooms thoroughly, pat them dry with a paper towel, and slice evenly. Clean the spinach, mince the garlic, and juice the lemon.
02 - In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat.
03 - Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet. Stir occasionally and cook for 5–7 minutes until the mushrooms soften and turn a deep brown color.
04 - When the mushrooms are almost browned, add the minced garlic. Sauté for 1–2 minutes, stirring constantly to avoid burning.
05 - Add the spinach to the skillet and toss gently to mix it with the mushrooms and garlic.
06 - Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice and toss everything together to combine. Garnish with parsley or red pepper flakes if desired.
