Roasted Figs (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/4 cup granulated sugar.
02 - 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon.
03 - 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves.
04 - 1 pound fresh figs, halved lengthwise.
05 - Cooking spray.

# Instructions:

01 - Position broiler rack 6 inches from heat and preheat broiler. Spray baking sheet with cooking spray.
02 - Combine sugar, cinnamon and cloves in small bowl.
03 - Dip cut side of figs in sugar mixture twice. Place cut side up on baking sheet.
04 - Broil about 4 minutes, watching closely, until sugar caramelizes and figs soften. Serve immediately.

# Notes:

01 - Use ripe figs.
02 - Best served immediately.
03 - Keeps 3 days in airtight container.
