In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the garlic. Cook for 2-3 minutes, making sure not to let the garlic brown as it can become bitter.

Pour in the white wine and lemon juice, increasing the heat to bring the mixture to a simmer. Cook until the wine is reduced by half.

After the wine has reduced, stir in the Italian seasoning.

Reduce the heat to low and add the butter, stirring until it is fully incorporated. Be cautious to keep the heat low to prevent the butter from separating.

Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet, add the parsley, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix well to ensure the shrimp are evenly coated with the sauce.

Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the shrimp just before serving.
