# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 cup walnuts
02 - ¼ cup + 1 tablespoon golden brown sugar, packed
03 - ¼ cup water
04 - 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
05 - ⅛ teaspoon salt, plus more for topping

# Instructions:

01 - Place a piece of parchment or silicone mat on a large plate or sheet pan. Set aside.
02 - Add all ingredients in a medium non-stick skillet.
03 - Place skillet over high heat and cook, stirring occasionally for 4 minutes.
04 - Reduce heat to medium, stir continuously for an additional one minute until all moisture evaporates. The walnuts will darken, become glossier, and begin to clump together.
05 - Transfer nuts onto the prepared plate, scraping any remaining caramel from the pan. Spread in a single layer and sprinkle more sea salt on top. Allow to cool to room temperature, then break apart using your fingers.

01 - Non-stick skillet is best for this recipe
02 - Cook until no moisture remains to ensure crunchiness
03 - Spoon any remaining caramel in the pan on top of the nuts
