Soft rolls packed with pizza fillings and buttery garlic topping. Shareable and crowd-pleasing!

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 6 oz Italian sausage
02 - 24 slices of pepperoni
03 - 12 connected Hawaiian rolls

→ Cheese and Sauce

04 - 1 cup marinara or pizza sauce, split into two portions, plus extra for dipping
05 - 2 cups shredded mozzarella (add half first, save the rest)
06 - 3 tbsp Parmesan cheese, grated fresh

→ Garlic Butter Topping

07 - 1/4 cup melted salted butter
08 - 1/2 tsp powdered garlic
09 - 1/2 tsp Italian herbs
10 - A pinch of crushed red pepper flakes
11 - 1 tbsp finely chopped parsley, fresh

# Instructions:

01 - Turn on the oven to 350°F. Cover a 9x13 pan with foil or parchment and spray with a little cooking spray. Cook the sausage in a pan until fully browned, then drain.
02 - Slice horizontally through the middle of the rolls with a serrated blade, keeping the rolls together. Place the bottom layer into the baking dish.
03 - Spread 1/2 cup sauce evenly over the bottom rolls. Sprinkle 1 cup of mozzarella cheese and lay out the pepperoni slices and sausage. Finish with the rest of the mozzarella.
04 - Spread the second 1/2 cup of sauce on the inside of the top rolls, then place it back on top of the cheese and meat to form the sandwich.
05 - Combine the melted butter with the Parmesan, garlic powder, Italian herbs, and red pepper flakes. Brush all over the top of the rolls, then sprinkle with parsley.
06 - Cover the pan with foil and bake for 15–20 minutes, just until the cheese is fully melted. Take the foil off and bake 5 more minutes to get crispy tops. Slice and serve hot with extra sauce for dipping.

# Notes:

01 - Switch it up by tossing in extra toppings like mushrooms, olives, pineapple, or peppers.
02 - Keep the rolls attached while building them to save time.
03 - Great choice for appetizers at a party or game night.
