02 - 1 medium green bell pepper, sliced
03 - 1 medium yellow onion, sliced
04 - 4 ounces mushrooms, sliced

→ Condiments and Fats

05 - 1 tablespoon canola oil
06 - 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
07 - 2 tablespoons butter
08 - 1/4 cup mayonnaise

→ Bread and Cheese

09 - 1 loaf French bread, cut in half lengthwise
10 - 10-12 slices Provolone cheese

→ Seasonings

11 - Salt and pepper to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Get your oven heating to 400 degrees. While it's warming up, season those thinly sliced ribeye pieces with salt and pepper.
02 - Heat up your cast iron skillet over medium-high with the canola oil. Sear that steak for about 2 minutes per side until it's perfectly browned. Give it a toss with Worcestershire sauce, then set it aside for now.
03 - In that same skillet, melt your butter and add the sliced peppers, onions, and mushrooms. Season them with salt and pepper and cook until they're just tender, about 2 minutes.
04 - Spread both halves of your French bread with mayonnaise, then lay down a layer of Provolone cheese. Top with your cooked steak and vegetables, then finish with another layer of cheese.
05 - Pop it in the oven on the middle rack for 10-15 minutes until everything's hot and bubbly with golden brown cheese on top. Cut into thick 2-inch slices and serve while it's nice and hot!
