Oven Roasted Broccoli (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 1/2 pounds broccoli (1 head), cut into medium florets.
02 - 3 tablespoons olive oil.
03 - 3 garlic cloves, minced.
04 - 1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste.
05 - 1/4 teaspoon pepper, or to taste.
06 - 2 tablespoons freshly grated parmesan, optional.

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Toss broccoli florets with oil, garlic, salt, and pepper on prepared baking sheet.
03 - Spread broccoli in a single layer on the baking sheet.
04 - Cook until edges are golden brown and stems are crisp-tender, about 14-18 minutes.
05 - Sprinkle with parmesan if using and serve immediately.

01 - Broccoli stems can be roasted if peeled first.
02 - Single layer ensures even roasting.
