01 - 1 cup (240g) Nutella
02 - 1/2 cup (120ml) heavy cream
03 - 200g (7oz) dark or semi-sweet chocolate, finely chopped

04 - 1/2 cup (50g) hazelnuts, finely chopped
05 - 1/4 cup (30g) cocoa powder

# Instructions:

01 - Place the finely chopped dark or semi-sweet chocolate in a heatproof bowl. In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it just begins to simmer (do not allow it to boil).
02 - Pour the hot cream over the chopped chocolate. Let it sit undisturbed for 1-2 minutes to allow the chocolate to begin melting, then stir gently until the mixture becomes smooth and glossy.
03 - Add the Nutella to the chocolate-cream mixture and stir until fully incorporated and the ganache is creamy and homogeneous.
04 - Cover the bowl with plastic wrap, ensuring the wrap touches the surface of the ganache to prevent a skin from forming. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours, or until the ganache is firm enough to hold its shape when scooped.
05 - Once chilled, use a small spoon or melon baller to scoop out portions of the ganache. Quickly roll each portion between your palms to form smooth, even balls. If the mixture becomes too soft, return it to the refrigerator to firm up again.
06 - Prepare small bowls with your chosen coatings. Roll each truffle in finely chopped hazelnuts, cocoa powder, or a combination of both, until completely covered. Gently shake off any excess coating.
07 - Place the coated truffles in an airtight container, separating layers with parchment paper if needed. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the truffles to set completely.
