# Ingredients:

→ Tea Base

01 - 1 tbsp dried butterfly pea flowers or 5-6 fresh butterfly pea flowers, or 1 butterfly pea tea bag
02 - 1 cup hot water

→ Milk Base

03 - 1/2 cup milk, dairy or plant-based (e.g., almond, coconut, or oat)

→ Optional Add-ins

04 - 1-2 tsp honey or sweetener of your choice
05 - 1 tsp lemon juice
06 - Ice cubes

# Instructions:

01 - Steep the dried butterfly pea flowers, fresh flowers, or tea bag in boiled water for 5-7 minutes. Strain the tea to remove the flowers or discard the tea bag, then allow the tea to cool to room temperature.
02 - If a sweeter latte is desired, stir in 1-2 teaspoons of honey or your preferred sweetener while the tea is still warm. Mix until dissolved.
03 - Froth the milk using a milk frother, or shake it vigorously in a sealed jar or shaker. Alternatively, use a blender to create foam with the cold milk.
04 - Fill a glass with ice cubes and pour the cooled butterfly pea tea over the ice. Slowly add the frothy milk to create a layered effect.
05 - Add a teaspoon of lemon juice if desired. Watch as the blue tea transforms into a purple hue.
