Homemade Breakfast Sausages (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound ground pork.
02 - 1 teaspoon salt.
03 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper.
04 - 1/2 teaspoon fennel seeds, crushed.
05 - 1/2 teaspoon ground sage.
06 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder.
07 - 1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning.
08 - 1/8 teaspoon dried thyme leaves.
09 - 1/8 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed.
10 - 1/8 teaspoon smoked paprika.
11 - 1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes.

# Instructions:

01 - Combine ground pork with all seasonings in medium bowl, mix thoroughly.
02 - Refrigerate mixture at least 2 hours or overnight.
03 - Divide meat into 6 patties, 1/2 inch thick.
04 - Heat skillet over medium heat. Cook patties 4 minutes per side until browned.

# Notes:

01 - Can add brown sugar for sweeter sausage.
02 - Can add cayenne for spicier version.
03 - Can substitute ground turkey.
