Wash the rice with cool water. Add water to a pot, get it boiling, drop in the rice, cover, turn the heat all the way down, and cook for about 20 minutes. When all the water's gone and the rice is tender, take it off the heat and let it hang out to the side.
02 -
Pop a big skillet on medium-high, pour in olive oil, and add the beef. Break it up as it cooks. Once it’s all browned up, drain out any extra grease if you need to.
03 -
Toss in your chopped garlic, smoked paprika, onion powder, and Cajun blend. Stir it all for a minute or two till that garlic smells awesome.
04 -
Dump in the beef broth and heavy cream, scraping the tasty brown bits off the bottom as you stir. Let it cook for five minutes so everything gets a bit thicker.
05 -
Sprinkle in cheddar, parmesan, and butter. Keep stirring until the cheese melts smooth. Add salt and pepper until it’s just right for you.
06 -
Spoon your cooked rice right into that cheesy skillet. Stir it all so every bit of rice gets coated good.
07 -
Scoop everything into bowls while it's still steamy. Finish with parsley on top.
