Frozen Cherry Coke Slushies (Print Version)
Tart, sweet frozen cherry Coke slushies with optional bourbon.

28 oz. (3 1/2 cups) chilled Coca-Cola, divided

Juice of 2 limes
03 -
1/2 cup bourbon, dark rum, or Campari (optional)

2 cups frozen pitted cherries

1 lime, sliced into thin wheels

Maraschino cherries, for serving (optional)
# Instructions:

Divide 12 ounces (1 1/2 cups) Coca-Cola among ice cube trays. Freeze until solid, 3 to 4 hours.

Into a blender, in this order, pour lime juice, bourbon (if using), and remaining 16 ounces (2 cups) Coca-Cola (if using bourbon, only use 1 1/2 cups Coca-Cola). Then add Coca-Cola ice cubes and frozen cherries. Blend, scraping down sides if needed, until smooth and icy, 1 to 2 minutes.

Divide the drink among chilled glasses. Garnish each glass with a lime wheel and maraschino cherries, if desired.
