# Ingredients:

→ Cheese

01 - 1 (8 oz) block cheddar cheese

→ Coating

02 - 1 (9 oz) bag Doritos (any flavor)
03 - 2 large eggs
04 - 1 cup all-purpose flour
05 - 1/2 teaspoon paprika
06 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
07 - 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
08 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
09 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

→ Frying

10 - Vegetable oil for frying

# Instructions:

01 - Slice the cheddar cheese into 1/2 inch thick squares. Cut each square diagonally to make triangles.
02 - Place the Doritos in a ziplock bag and crush them with a rolling pin or sturdy object until they resemble coarse breadcrumbs. Alternatively, pulse them a few times in a food processor.
03 - In the first shallow bowl, combine flour, paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and black pepper. Beat the eggs in a second bowl. Place the crushed Doritos in a third bowl.
04 - Dredge each cheese triangle in the flour mixture, dip into the egg mixture, and coat completely in the crushed Doritos. Gently press the crumbs to ensure they stick.
05 - Place the breaded cheese triangles on a parchment-lined baking sheet and freeze for at least 30 minutes, or up to 3 hours.
06 - In a large pot or Dutch oven, heat 3-4 cups of vegetable oil over medium heat to 350°F (175°C).
07 - Carefully place a few breaded cheese triangles into the hot oil without overcrowding. Fry for 1-2 minutes per side until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
08 - Use a slotted spoon to remove fried cheese from the oil. Drain on paper towels and serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce, such as marinara or ranch.
