Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 9x13 baking dish with parchment paper or foil and spray with cooking spray. Cook Italian sausage in a skillet until no longer pink, then drain.

Using a serrated knife, slice the entire block of rolls horizontally, keeping them connected. Place the bottom half in the prepared pan.

Spread ½ cup pizza sauce on bottom layer, then add 1 cup mozzarella, pepperoni slices, and cooked sausage. Top with remaining cheese.

Spread remaining ½ cup sauce on cut side of top layer, then place on top of the cheese to create one large sandwich.

Mix melted butter, Parmesan, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Brush over roll tops and sprinkle with parsley.

Cover tightly with foil and bake 15-20 minutes until cheese melts. Uncover and bake 5 more minutes until tops are golden brown. Slice and serve with extra sauce for dipping.
