Easy Mongolian Ground Beef Noodles (Print Version)

Savory Mongolian noodles with ground beef, hoisin, and bold flavors.

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 lb lean ground beef
02 - 4 tsp minced ginger
03 - 6 cloves garlic, minced
04 - 1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce
05 - 1/2 cup beef broth
06 - 1/4 cup brown sugar
07 - 6 tbsp hoisin sauce
08 - 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
09 - 1/2 tsp black pepper
10 - 1 12-ounce box of linguine noodles
11 - 4 green onions, diced for garnish
12 - Toasted sesame seeds for garnish

# Instructions:

01 - In a medium skillet with high sides, brown the ground beef along with the minced ginger and garlic until the beef is fully cooked. Use the back of a wooden spoon to break up the meat. Drain any excess fat and return the pan to the stovetop.
02 - Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the linguine noodles according to package instructions. Ensure the water is well-salted for flavorful noodles.
03 - In a small dish, combine soy sauce, beef broth, brown sugar, hoisin sauce, red pepper flakes, and black pepper. Pour the mixture into the cooked ground beef and stir to combine. Let it simmer for about 3 minutes for the beef to absorb the flavors.
04 - Once the noodles are cooked and drained, transfer them to the skillet with the ground beef mixture. Mix thoroughly and let cook for a couple more minutes to thicken the sauce.
05 - Top the dish with diced green onions and toasted sesame seeds. Serve immediately and enjoy!
