Mexican Churros Poppers (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup all-purpose flour.
02 - 1/2 cup granulated sugar.
03 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon.
04 - 1 cup water.
05 - 2 1/2 tablespoons sugar.
06 - 1/2 teaspoon salt.
07 - 2 tablespoons vegetable oil.
08 - Extra oil for frying.

# Instructions:

01 - Mix 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon in a bowl or paper bag. Set aside.
02 - Heat oil in deep-fryer to 375°F, about 2 1/2 inches deep.
03 - Combine water, 2 1/2 tablespoons sugar, salt, and 2 tablespoons oil in a saucepan. Bring to boil.
04 - Remove from heat and stir in flour until it forms a ball.
05 - Once cool enough to handle, roll dough into walnut-sized balls.
06 - Fry 3-4 balls at a time until golden brown.
07 - Roll hot poppers in cinnamon sugar mixture.

# Notes:

01 - Use a cookie scoop for uniform sizes.
02 - Serve with chocolate sauce, Nutella, caramel, or dulce de leche.
03 - Roll dough gently - just enough to form balls.
