Creamy Bean Soup With Sausage (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 spoon oil.
02 - 2 pounds kielbasa (cut in chunks).
03 - 1 cup cut-up onion.
04 - 1 cup cut-up green pepper.
05 - 1 cup cut-up carrots.
06 - 2 cloves cut-up garlic.
07 - 1/2 spoon salt.
08 - 1/2 spoon black pepper.
09 - 1/4 cup flour.
10 - 4 cups milk.
11 - 6 spoons Worcestershire sauce.
12 - 1/2 spoon sage.
13 - 1 can white beans (drained).
14 - 1 can kidney beans (drained).
15 - Fresh parsley for top.

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oil in big pot.
02 - Cook sausage 5 minutes till brown.
03 - Add onion, pepper, carrots, garlic.
04 - Put in salt and pepper. Cook 5 minutes till soft.
05 - Sprinkle flour over all. Stir good.
06 - Cook 2 minutes till flour smells nutty.
07 - Pour milk in slow. Stir till smooth.
08 - Cook till thick, keep stirring.
09 - Add Worcestershire, sage, beans.
10 - Turn heat low. Cook 15-20 minutes, stir now and then.
11 - Taste. Add more salt and pepper if needed.
12 - Top with parsley. Serve with bread.

# Notes:

01 - Great with crusty bread for dipping.
02 - Uses milk instead of cream - not so heavy.
