Cream Cheese and Bacon Stuffed Doritos Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
02 - 1 cup cream cheese, softened
03 - 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
04 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
05 - 2 cups nacho cheese-flavored Doritos, crushed into fine crumbs
06 - 1 cup all-purpose flour
07 - 2 large eggs, beaten
08 - 1 tablespoon milk
09 - Salt and pepper, to taste
10 - 2 tablespoons olive oil

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Using a sharp knife, cut a pocket into the side of each chicken breast, being careful not to cut all the way through.
02 - In a medium bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, crumbled bacon, and shredded mozzarella cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
03 - Spoon the cream cheese mixture into each chicken breast pocket, stuffing it evenly. Use toothpicks to secure the edges of the chicken breasts if needed.
04 - Place the crushed Doritos in a shallow bowl. Place the flour in another shallow bowl. In a third shallow bowl, whisk together the beaten eggs and milk.
05 - Roll each stuffed chicken breast in the flour, shaking off any excess. Dip it into the egg mixture, then roll it in the crushed Doritos, pressing the crumbs onto the chicken to coat it well.
06 - Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Add the breaded chicken breasts and sear for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
07 - Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the filling is hot and bubbly.
