Cream together butter and cream cheese. Beat in egg and vanilla until just combined.

Beat in cake mix until well blended. Stir in 1/4 cup sprinkles.

Refrigerate dough at least one hour or overnight.

Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease or line cookie sheet with parchment.

Roll tablespoons of dough into 1-inch balls. Add sprinkles then roll in confectioner's sugar.

Place 2 inches apart on sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes. Let rest 2 minutes before moving to cooling rack.
