Christmas Gooey Butter Cookies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened.
02 - 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened.
03 - 1 egg.
04 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
05 - 1 white cake mix.
06 - 1/2 cup sprinkles, divided.
07 - 1/2 cup confectioner's sugar.

# Instructions:

01 - Cream together butter and cream cheese. Beat in egg and vanilla until just combined.
02 - Beat in cake mix until well blended. Stir in 1/4 cup sprinkles.
03 - Refrigerate dough at least one hour or overnight.
04 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease or line cookie sheet with parchment.
05 - Roll tablespoons of dough into 1-inch balls. Add sprinkles then roll in confectioner's sugar.
06 - Place 2 inches apart on sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes. Let rest 2 minutes before moving to cooling rack.
