Chili Cheese Dog Casserole (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent dough
02 - 4 slices American cheese, cut in half
03 - 8 hot dogs
04 - 1-2 cans (15 oz each) chili
05 - 2 tablespoons butter, melted
06 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
07 - 1 teaspoon chopped chives, optional

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly coat the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray.
02 - Roll out crescent dough and separate into triangles. Place half a slice of cheese on each triangle, then roll around the hot dogs. Arrange the wrapped hot dogs in the prepared casserole dish.
03 - In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic powder, and optional chopped chives. Brush the mixture over the hot dog rolls.
04 - Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
05 - Remove the casserole from the oven and uncover. Spoon the chili around the hot dog rolls.
06 - Return the dish to the oven and bake, uncovered, for an additional 15 minutes, or until the tops of the crescent rolls are golden brown.
