Whisk together oyster sauce, sugar, sesame oil, soy sauce, chicken broth and cornstarch in a small bowl. Set aside.

Cook chow mein noodles according to package instructions. Drain, rinse with cold water and set aside.

Heat oil in a large wok or pan over medium heat. Cut chicken into bite-sized strips and cook until golden brown. Remove and set aside.

In the same pan, sauté carrots, cabbage and pressed garlic for a few minutes until vegetables are slightly softened and cabbage is translucent.

Return chicken and noodles to pan. Pour sauce over and cook everything together for 2 more minutes. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.
