Cherry Earl Grey Tea (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Tea Base

01 - 1 Earl Grey tea bag (or 1 tsp loose leaf Earl Grey tea)
02 - 1 cup water

→ Flavoring Components

03 - 4-5 fresh cherries, pitted and halved
04 - 1/2 cup milk (any type: dairy, almond, oat, etc.)
05 - 1-2 tsp vanilla syrup, or to taste
06 - 1 cinnamon stick (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - In a small saucepan, simmer halved cherries with 2 tablespoons of water for 3-5 minutes until soft. Gently mash to release more flavor.
02 - Bring 1 cup of water to a boil. Steep Earl Grey tea for 3-5 minutes, then remove tea bag or strain loose leaves.
03 - Add milk to the saucepan with softened cherries. Heat gently while stirring. Optionally add cinnamon stick for extra spice.
04 - Stir vanilla syrup into the milk and cherry mixture, adjusting sweetness to taste.
05 - Pour brewed tea into a mug, then strain in the warm milk-cherry mixture, pressing cherries to extract all juice. Stir well. Serve hot or over ice, optionally garnishing with a fresh cherry or sprinkle of cinnamon.
