01 -
Preheat oven to 200°C. Mix the peeled garlic cloves with olive oil and salt. Transfer to a small oven-safe pot with a lid, or cover with foil. Bake for approximately 20 minutes until soft and golden. Mash with a fork and set aside.
02 -
Combine the mashed roasted garlic, melted butter, egg, milk, salt, paprika, and parsley in a bowl. Whisk thoroughly to combine.
03 -
Reduce oven temperature to 175°C. Using a sharp knife, slice the sheet of bread rolls into two halves. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes until lightly golden and crispy.
04 -
Transfer the garlic butter custard mixture to a large pan. Carefully dip the baked bread sheets or loaves into the custard, ensuring they are evenly coated on all sides.
05 -
Place the coated bread back onto the baking sheet and bake at 175°C for 15-18 minutes until golden. Cover with shredded mozzarella cheese. Switch oven setting to broil/grill and broil for approximately 5 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden.
06 -
Garnish the cheesy garlic bread with fresh parsley and chili flakes. Slice, serve, and enjoy.
