Cheesy Broccoli Fritters Delight (Print Version)

Golden, cheesy broccoli fritters packed with flavor, easy to make, and ideal for sharing.

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 cups fresh broccoli florets, finely chopped
02 - 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
03 - 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
04 - 2 large eggs
05 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
06 - 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
07 - Salt and pepper, to taste
08 - 1/4 cup green onions, chopped (optional)
09 - Olive oil, for frying

# Instructions:

01 - Chop the fresh broccoli florets into small pieces. Optionally, steam them lightly for 2-3 minutes if softer broccoli is preferred.
02 - In a large bowl, combine the chopped broccoli, shredded cheese, flour, eggs, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
03 - Using your hands, shape small portions of the mixture into patties, approximately 2-3 inches in diameter.
04 - In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add just enough oil to cover the bottom of the skillet.
05 - Place a few fritters in the skillet, being careful not to overcrowd them. Fry for about 3-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
06 - Transfer the cooked fritters to a paper towel-lined plate to absorb excess oil.
07 - Continue frying batches until all the mixture is used. Add more oil to the skillet as needed. Serve warm, alone or with a favorite dipping sauce.
