Easy Cheesy Bacon Breakfast Rolls (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 1 package (12) dinner rolls, preferably Hawaiian rolls
02 - 6 large eggs
03 - 1/4 cup milk
04 - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
05 - 6 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled

→ Seasoning & Finishing

06 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
07 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
08 - 2 tablespoons fresh parsley or chives, chopped (optional)
09 - Salt and pepper to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Start by heating your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking dish with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
02 - Take your dinner rolls and slice them horizontally as one unit, keeping all the rolls connected. Place the bottom half in your prepared baking dish.
03 - Whisk those eggs with milk, a pinch of salt, and some fresh pepper until well combined. Cook them in a nonstick pan over medium heat, stirring gently until they're just set but still look a bit creamy.
04 - Spread your perfectly scrambled eggs over the bottom half of the rolls. Sprinkle generously with that crumbled bacon and shredded cheese.
05 - Put the top half of the rolls back on. Brush them with melted butter (mix in that garlic powder and herbs if you're using them - it adds such great flavor!).
06 - Cover your creation with foil and bake for 10 minutes. Then remove that foil and let them go another 5-7 minutes until they're golden on top and that cheese is perfectly melted and gooey.

# Notes:

01 - These crowd-pleasing breakfast rolls are perfect for busy mornings or weekend brunches. You can even prep them the night before!
02 - Feel free to swap the bacon for sausage, ham, or sautéed mushrooms for a vegetarian version. Adding some diced peppers or spinach makes them even more nutritious.
