Garlic Butter Salmon (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Components

01 - 4 tbsp unsalted butter
02 - 4 cloves of garlic, minced finely
03 - 4 salmon fillets, roughly 6 oz each

→ Seasonings and Garnish

04 - Salt and fresh black pepper, as needed
05 - Wedges of lemon for plating
06 - 1 tsp dried parsley or 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
07 - Juice from half a lemon, around 1 tbsp

# Instructions:

01 - Use paper towels to blot any excess moisture off the salmon, then generously season both sides with pepper and salt.
02 - Heat up the butter in a big pan over medium-high heat and keep an eye on it till it starts to bubble. Don’t let it brown.
03 - With the skin side facing down (if it’s still on), place the salmon in the pan. Let it cook there for around 4-5 minutes without moving so it gets a crispy edge.
04 - Turn the salmon over carefully, then toss the minced garlic into the skillet and spread it around. Allow the fillets to cook for another 3-4 minutes until done.
05 - Drizzle the lemon juice over the salmon and sprinkle with parsley. Let it sit in the pan for another minute to soak in the flavors.
06 - Place the fillets on plates, spooning the buttery garlic mixture on top. Add a lemon wedge to each serving for extra zest.

# Notes:

01 - Choose fresh salmon to get the tastiest results
02 - Goes great with a side of rice or vegetables
03 - Either dried or fresh parsley works well here
