Use paper towels to blot any excess moisture off the salmon, then generously season both sides with pepper and salt.

Heat up the butter in a big pan over medium-high heat and keep an eye on it till it starts to bubble. Don’t let it brown.

With the skin side facing down (if it’s still on), place the salmon in the pan. Let it cook there for around 4-5 minutes without moving so it gets a crispy edge.

Turn the salmon over carefully, then toss the minced garlic into the skillet and spread it around. Allow the fillets to cook for another 3-4 minutes until done.

Drizzle the lemon juice over the salmon and sprinkle with parsley. Let it sit in the pan for another minute to soak in the flavors.

Place the fillets on plates, spooning the buttery garlic mixture on top. Add a lemon wedge to each serving for extra zest.
