Brussels Sprouts and Bacon Recipe (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/2 pound bacon, cut into small pieces.
02 - 2 dozen Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved.
03 - Salt and pepper to taste.

# Instructions:

01 - Fry bacon over medium-high heat until crispy. Remove to paper towel, leaving grease in pan.
02 - Add Brussels sprouts to bacon grease, stir to coat. Cover and cook on medium-low for 5 minutes.
03 - Return bacon to pan. Cook uncovered until sprouts reach desired tenderness. Can cover again for softer sprouts.
04 - Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately.

# Notes:

01 - Cooking time varies with sprout size.
02 - Can make sprouts extra tender by covering.
03 - Best served right away.
