Bobby Flay Pizza Dough (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 1/2 cups warm water (approximately 110°F)
02 - 2 1/4 teaspoons quick-rise yeast (1 packet)
03 - 1 tablespoon honey
04 - 1 teaspoon fine granulated sugar
05 - 3 1/2 to 4 cups all-purpose bread flour, plus extra for dusting
06 - 2 teaspoons flaky sea salt
07 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
08 - 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil, plus 2 teaspoons for brushing

# Instructions:

01 - Organize warm water, honey, sugar, and yeast. Ensure warm water is at approximately 110°F to avoid killing the yeast.
02 - In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, honey, and sugar. Stir gently to dissolve. Sprinkle yeast over the surface and let it sit for 5-10 minutes until bubbling and foaming.
03 - In a separate bowl, whisk together 3 1/2 cups of bread flour, flaky sea salt, and garlic powder.
04 - Pour olive oil into the yeast mixture. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until a dough forms. Use a wooden spoon or a stand mixer with a dough hook.
05 - Transfer dough onto a lightly floured surface. Knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Add additional flour if sticky.
06 - Shape dough into a ball and place in a lightly greased bowl. Cover with plastic wrap or a damp towel and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
07 - Release air by punching down the dough. Divide into two equal portions for two pizzas. Shape each portion into a ball.
08 - Cover dough balls and let rise for another 30 minutes. Use this time to prepare desired toppings.
09 - Dust work surface with flour and roll out dough with a rolling pin or stretch by hand into desired pizza shape and thickness.
10 - Preheat oven to 475°F. Pre-bake crusts for 5-7 minutes before adding toppings.
