Blue Raspberry Lemonade Drink (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (approximately 6-8 lemons)
02 - 1 cup granulated sugar
03 - 1 cup water
04 - 1 tablespoon blue raspberry flavoring syrup
05 - 4 cups cold water
06 - Blue food coloring, optional
07 - Ice
08 - Fresh raspberries and lemon slices for garnish

# Instructions:

01 - In a small saucepan, combine the sugar and 1 cup of water. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar dissolves completely to create a simple syrup. Remove from heat and let it cool.
02 - In a large pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice, cooled simple syrup, blue raspberry flavoring syrup, and 4 cups of cold water. Stir well to mix.
03 - If desired, add a few drops of blue food coloring to enhance the blue color of the lemonade. Start with a small amount and gradually add more until you achieve the desired shade.
04 - Taste the lemonade and adjust the sweetness by adding more sugar or water, if needed.
05 - Chill the blue raspberry lemonade in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or until ready to serve.
06 - When ready to serve, fill glasses with ice and pour the chilled blue raspberry lemonade over the ice. Garnish each glass with fresh raspberries and a lemon slice, if desired.
