Baked Cheese Broccoli Patties (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
02 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
03 - 1/2 onion, chopped
04 - 12 ounces frozen broccoli, defrosted
05 - 3/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
06 - 1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese
07 - 1/3 cup parmesan cheese
08 - 2 eggs, beaten
09 - Salt and pepper, to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil.
02 - Heat the vegetable oil in a small pan over medium heat. Add the garlic and onions, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Sauté until tender, then set aside to cool.
03 - Place the broccoli in a kitchen towel. Wrap the towel around the broccoli and squeeze to remove excess moisture. Transfer the drained broccoli to a large mixing bowl.
04 - Add the panko breadcrumbs, cheddar cheese, parmesan cheese, beaten eggs, and salt and pepper to the bowl with the broccoli. Mix well to combine.
05 - Shape the mixture into patties and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
06 - Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Flip the patties and bake for another 15 minutes, or until browned and crispy.
